EVENTS
Annual Lizzy on Main Festival
Second Week in August
Join us on Main St. and across town for a celebration of all things Blue Lizzy! In honor of the festival, the Museum will be extending our hours, from 8 AM to 7 PM. Be sure to catch Lizzy Sings the Blues, a short one-man play chronicling Blue Lizzy’s history in Hawthorn Junction, written by and starring Dodd Plum, performed every hour on the hour. The festival offers lots of fun for the whole family, including a parade, kids fun zone, games, face-painting, costume contest, and more. Officiated by Mayor Cole Roscoe and the lovely Lizard Queen.
